Dr Anu Mathew completed the Victorian ophthalmology training program and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2015. She has undertaken further advanced training in strabismus and paediatric ophthalmology at the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Dr Mathew currently has public appointments at the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Women’s Hospital. Her surgical expertise covers most areas of strabismus and paediatric ophthalmology.

Dr Justin Sherwin is a highly skilled ophthalmic surgeon, with special interest in cataracts and glaucoma. He also treats patients with medical retinal (macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy) and general eye conditions. Dr Sherwin completed local training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, where he currently holds a public appointment, and sub-specialty training in glaucoma and cataract surgery at Oxford Eye Hospital, UK. He has obtained postgraduate degrees in epidemiology and eye research from the University of Cambridge, UK.
